Harmony Christmas Jumper Day 2020

Harmony raise £500 for Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day!

We all like a bit of fun around the festive season and with so much doom and gloom from the year 2020, Harmony embraced the opportunity to take part in this year’s Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day on Friday 11 December!

With staff members working remotely and only limited staff working in the office it was a great opportunity for the team to feel united after a very strange year of not seeing much of each other.

All the team, from people out on site, working at home or in the office donned their Christmas jumpers and hats all in aid of raising money for a good cause, Save the Children.

By pulling on our Christmassy knits and donating, we’ll be transforming the future for children. Every pound we raised will give children in the UK and around the world the chance to grow up healthy and happy and change the future for good. Just £2 could pay for a bottle of hand sanitiser to help fight coronavirus in a Save the Children medical clinic, whilst £20 could pay for a back-to-school kit for a child in Indonesia.

Save the Children lead the way on tackling problems like pneumonia, hunger and protecting children in war, while making sure each child’s unique needs are cared for.

Save the Children UK, Facebook response “Thank you for your support Team Harmony, and for getting full on festive with us”

Warwick Melvin, Director, Harmony Fire “It’s been a tough year for all and what better way to raise money for a great cause and have a bit of fun wearing our Christmas jumpers. Even though we weren’t all together, everyone got in the spirit and raised a fantastic sum for Save the Children”.
