Harmony’s first ever webinar! Fire Safety – Want to sleep at night? How can you make sure your residents and buildings are safe?

Fire Safety Webinar – Want to sleep at night? How can you make sure your residents and buildings are safe?

Last week, we hosted our “Fire Safety webinar– Want to sleep at night?  How can you make sure your residents and buildings are safe?” The online event was held in partnership with Hilti and featured guest speaker Lee Frost, Government and Fire Stopping Specialist, Hilti. We also had our very own Connor Mitchell, Housing Fire Safety Consultant and Alec Knott, Senior Fire Safety Consultant. All the speakers did a fantastic job and kept viewers engaged and informed throughout.

In the session, our goal was to demonstrate how we have adapted and innovated to become the experts in a full end to end solution for our clients, guaranteeing total fire protection through our fully comprehensive offer and dedicated expertise. We also highlighted how customer service and company culture can really make a difference to the customer’s journey.

One of the key messages of the webinar was our unique methodology; Think.Protect.Sustain. We work with you from consultation right through to servicing, to provide you with a bespoke solution and total peace of mind that your people, building and assets are safe. Giving clients a complete end-to-end solution with measurable costings and legal compliance.

One of our main aims for the webinar was to ensure that our audience left knowing more about fire safety than they did before. Among the key learnings from the webinar, our audience takeaways included:

  • What is classed as adequate and non-adequate fire stopping
  • The latest information on fire stopping and the myths uncovered
  • The importance of ensuring fire stopping is correctly installed at the build stage
  • Proper sealing and fire protection
  • Fire stopping of service penetrations and what types are considered good and bad

Throughout the webinar, we asked our audience questions and were delighted to see everyone get involved! At Harmony, we strongly believe that polls are important for not only gauging audience knowledge but also helping them further their education. Overall, we had very positive feedback and even some great suggestions for future themes!

We’d like to thank everyone who attended our webinar. We had an excellent time and can’t wait for the next one!
