bpha selected Harmony Fire as their trusted partner after a competitive tender bid to carry out several critical fire safety works across sites in Bedford, Cambridge, Milton Keynes and Northampton.

The works were extensive and included fire door and compartmentation surveys, fire door remedial works, compartmentation remedial works, FRA remedial works and call outs. Harmony’s team also surveyed every fire door within each bpha property.

One of the team’s most significant challenges was gaining access to the residents’ flats. Working with the local bpha housing officer, Harmony came up with a tight process to help overcome this and limit the delay of the work. We aimed to try to access the flat three times, and if there were still no response, we would hand it over to the bpha housing officer to arrange the appointment directly with the resident. This proved to be the most efficient and effective way to ensure works carried on and enabled us to keep to deadlines. Due to Harmony’s operatives being professional and respectful, Harmony received positive feedback from the client and residents alike.
