INTRODUCTION:

Harmony Fire are proud to be working with The Guinness Partnership, a large Housing Association that cares for over 140,000 people across the country.

SOLUTIONS:

Since initial works began two years ago, the Harmony-Guinness Partnership relationship has gone from strength to strength. Our working partnership started when Harmony was instructed to carry out a sprinkler installation at Mulberry House. Since then, Harmony has completed three more sprinkler installations within general needs blocks to BS9251:2021. 

Harmony later secured The Guinness Partnership’s Specialist Fire Safety Servicing contract for the nationwide servicing, maintenance, and remediation of active fire systems such as wet risers, dry risers, bin chutes, fire shutters, sprinklers, fire alarms, and emergency lights. 

PROJECT EXECUTION:

This contract is being delivered by personnel based at Harmony’s London, Chesterfield, and Somerset offices. All works are signed off and certified under our in-house certifications, such as BAFE, LPCB, NICEIC, etc., and records and evidence of work are recorded on our asset management system, SimPRO.

Consistent, clear communication has been critical throughout the delivery of works for The Guinness Partnership. We have set up a contract-specific Pre-Construction and Project Team, allowing for day-to-day communication. Giles Holley, the Partnership Director:

• ‘Owned’ contract mobilisation stages, ensuring swift contract start.
• Provides a 1-1 dedicated service to The Guinness Partnership contract team, including technical/compliance help and problem/conflict resolution.
• Ensures ‘Operational Excellence’ by maintaining oversight of the contract through to completion and attending weekly and monthly meetings.
• Is proactive in communication and all mobilisation stages, helping drive continuous contract progression to deliver on The Guinness Partnership’s desired outcomes.
